iPhone 4 first impressions
No.. I didn't get a new one... but Jeanie did and I have to help set it up :P So we lined up at one2free CWB store this morning at 9:15. I shouldn't have said lined up, because we skipped it! Long story short, we got the phone and was out of the store in 15 minutes. Much better than the current Samsung Anycall she's using (that she got about half a year ago, and resets itself all the time, argh)
So just some first impressions after playing around with it for a bit.....
Death grip / antennagate. Maybe the reception here in the office is just too good, "best" I could do was get it to drop from 5 -> 4 bars.
Retina display. TRULY AMAZING. Making the icons look prettier and photos sharper isn't as significant as the improvements with the text. It's like reading paper. Looking at my 3GS now makes me feel like it's some how out of focus :( (I realized the photo below isn't so sharp... but you get the point)
Also wanted to comment a bit on the new design. Just as I thought, it looks really nice - but I still prefer the curved back side of the 3GS. It does look really really nice though...... maybe I'm just not used to it. It might also be that it's a bit thinner than what I'm used to, especially since the iPhone4 doesn't have a case on it yet.
So there you have it! If I didn't have the 3GS, I think I'd get it also.
I'm just mad that I don't have a micro sim so I could just.... swap it for a few days...
